Ordered tickets for Hazlewood Castle Halloween trail for 29 October 2022. Received an email to say the event was cancelled and I should receive a refund. I did not receive a refund and despite ringing Totally Tickets, they claim they use a third party and cannot refund me. They have no way of contacting the third party or providing me with the contact details and that I just "have to wait". When I rang a week ago she had said there was an issue with some people getting refunds and it was resolved yesterday. When ringing today she must have forgotten and repeated the same issue. When asked what could be done about this her reply was "you have to do what you have to do, go to the CAB or issue at small claims court" against themselves for the money! Very unhelpful, still without a refund and a cancelled event.

Yesterday my family and friends visited Rufford Abbey country park for their annual Halloween event. Having been once before, the kids and I were very excited as rufford abbey always put on a great show with different Halloween themes all over their park.
This year Totally Tickets have taken over and disappointed doesn’t do it justice. We were 3 adults and 5 children so we spent practically £100 and expected an eventful day out. Instead we had a very short walk through the woods with only 1 quiz, as opposed to one each for the kids(that they didn’t even get a prize for), life sized models, half of which had nothing to do with Halloween, a gift bag with next to nothing in it, and a “potion making” stand that were glorified tea bags that you had to make yourself.
To add to this, there was nothing interactive for the kids. Safe to say they were bored and irritated by the time we had finished.
Clearly totally tickets are in this just for the money and not for entertaining children.
